New Master-Planned Community in Greater Austin Area
Johnson Development Services, an affiliate of Johnson Development Corporation, broke ground on a new master-planned community in the greater Austin area. Nolina is located in Williamson County off of Ronald Reagan Boulevard in Georgetown. The 524-acre community will have up to 1,335 single-family homes, as well as a pool and splash pad, a fitness center, a playground, an event lawn, a dog park, and a pickleball court.
For the first phase of construction, Chesmar Homes, Taylor Morrison, and Westin Homes are the planned builders. Sales could begin as early as the summer of 2023. No prices or plans have been released as of yet.
Georgetown is a fast-growing suburb of Austin and is located about 30 miles north of the capital city. It is also just north of Round Rock and is known for its small-town feel, historical buildings, and natural beauty.
Nolina will be the second Johnson Development project in the greater Austin area, following Bryson, a 530-acre development in Leander. Bryson will have 1,500 homes upon completion and includes such amenities as a resort-style pool, a covered pavilion, a large fire pit overlooking a fishing pond, and miles of trails. The community also will offer a lifestyle director to plan and coordinate community gatherings and events, as well as an on-site elementary school zoned for the Leander Independent School District.
