
According to the
Austin American-Statesman, Apple Inc. has signed a lease for the entire Capital Ridge office building in southwest Austin, near the intersection of Capital of Texas Highway (Loop 360) and Bee Cave Road (RM 2244). The building, under construction, sits on a bluff and is seven stories and 215,000 square feet.
The building is being developed by Austin-based Riverside Resources, and it is planned to open in the second quarter of 2015.

According to
NewsOK, over 4,500 people, including 794 contract workers, already are employed by Apple in Austin. The lease follows the finalization of Apple’s purchase of Riata Crossing North, a 350,000-square-foot office complex in northwest Austin.
