At the end of April, mud-loving runners from across Texas will be trekking down Highway 21 to Big Longhorn Ranch. For what? “A mud-crawling, obstacle-conquering, beer-drinking 3.15-mile run: basically, the most kick-ass race on the planet!” proclaims event organizer, Nathan Barnhart.
Participants, many bedecked in costume, must conquer twelve obstacles, from the Titan Tunnel to the Barbed Wire Bunker, Mount Mud, the Ring of Fire, and the Hell Wall! Best part is, the Hell Run is naughty
and nice: proceeds benefit the LIVESTRONG Foundation.
Waves of runners will take off every half-hour starting at 9:30 a.m. on Saturday, April 28
th, 2012. After the race, the mud-slick runners get a free beer while they sit back and enjoy the luxury of Tone-Lōc live in concert!

A third of the races are already sold out, so better act fast. Visit the Hell Run online to register from home, or email info@hellrun.com with questions. Registration will remain open through April 22
nd and costs $60 if you sign up before April 14
th.
