The Peninsula at Rough Hollow, the final southside lakefront community in the Rough Hollow development in Lakeway, named Arbogast Custom Homes, Jenkins Custom Homes, Lake Travis Builders, Laurel Haven Homes, and Triton Custom Homes as preferred builders for its 81 homesites, according to the Austin Business Journal.
The $60-million luxury community is on Lake Travis and offers home sites starting around $300k and ranging up to more than $1.5 million. Of the 81 home sites in this section, some homes already are under construction, with none complete.
Homes within the larger Rough Hollow community can range to over $3 million. The community on more than 1,800 acres offers a wide range of amenities, including Rough Hollow Yacht Club and Marina, which offers a casual restaurant, a state-of-the-art fitness center, a resort-style negative-edge pool, an outdoor amphitheater, a dual-car tram to the marina, a fully-stocked ship’s shore, fuel pumps, and a 4,000 square foot pavilion overlooking Lake Travis. It also features Highland Village, with the “Laziest River,” a children’s pool and splash pads, an adult pool with swim-up bar, an all-season pavilion with a demonstration kitchen, a village green, and an open-air marketplace. The community is zoned for the Lake Travis Independent School District, with Serene Hills Elementary School, Lake Travis Middle School, and Lake Travis High School.
The developers of the project are Legend Communities Inc. and Crescent Communities LLC. Crescent is involved with the master-planned community of Belterra in the southwest Austin/Dripping Springs area. Legend is based in Lakeway.
